Trade

Trade design needs to embrace the essence of a brand, their core values and proposition, and do so in an intensified and memorable way. In addition to the functionality of a trade fair stand, we need to leave the visitor with an intense and lasting experience. Rather than the same tried and true methods, we think outside the box and break down barriers to deliver trade projects that go well beyond their budgets to showcase the brand and their unique offerings. Our work in trade includes total concept development, together with the client, design of the stands and all their elements, and close guidance of the building and execution. Our work in trade design has been featured globally, in books and magazines. Here is a small selection of the many trade projects we have completed.

Spiewak, Bread & Butter, Berlin

Creating a brand story and moment is something we have always enjoyed doing, and this is at its most intense when in the context of creating a trade show experience. Our work for legendary companies, Spiewak and Golden Fleece, was made easy because of the long and storied history of these American outerwear brands. The idea was to push the envelope and explore the technical and futuristic aspects of the brands as well as add context to the brands through military, and specialist uses. Further, we referenced both the history and future of the brand through photography, both culled from the brand’s archive and shot contemporaneously. The darkened interior palette allowed lighting to call out the unique qualities of the garments. All items shown were custom designed and developed by us.
